形态描述
头背部具纵向小棘状突，躯体皮肤具颗粒状突起。胸鳍刺强壮，其后缘具锯齿；背鳍刺弱，后缘具细小锯齿。胸部吸着器后端及中部无皱纹。
生物学
This is a kind of buffallo catfish which have a depressed head, 8 barbels, whose spines of the dorsal and pectoral strong and serrate. It is provided with a longitudinally corrugates thoracid disk, which acts as an adhesive apparatus. It inhabits the running water of the hill brooks in the Irrawaddy River and its branches.
